Had this shoot a while back with Kevin and Chris! Me and Kev have been wanting to do a loli shoot for quite long but never got round to it till now. For our location we went to the abandoned Tyersall House. I'm not too clear on its history, but I think it was built for and lived in by a sultan and his family before being destroyed in a fire. And apparentlyyyy all kinds of freaky shit went down in there, like black magic and stuff! So you can imagine we all stuck together like glue lol.

Getting there is an adventure in itself. While it used to be open to the public, it's now owned by the nearby park and is all locked up. We basically had to break and enter by scaling the fence, thank god no popo shut us down. After that we had to trek through a jungle filled with fallen trees, vines, mad crazy insects and the like. And then the worst part.. climbing up this massively steep hill. The grass on that hill was up to our waists/chests. I have no words to describe how insanely scary that was. Not to mention tiring!! The sun was just like..trollface.jpeg T__T Seb was a complete hero for carrying the suitcase filled with all my loli things. There was no way I could have lugged that thing up and down myself.

OH AND THE BEST PART. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF US BROUGHT ANY FOOD OR WATER TROLOLOL. if it started raining and we got stranded there overnight we could literally have died.

....BUT WE DIDN'T! And we got such great pics from it ( ´ ▽ ` ) aaaand I hope my jump break works

Getting ready. I was so hot and sweaty at this point, the last thing i wanted to do was put on a wig, petticoat and knee high socks. Also, my first time wearing Dream Sky (Ugh I typed Milky Planet at first I keep doing that)! It is a unbelievably beautiful print/dress and I felt bad subjecting it to such torture. The house is mad dusty and dirty as you can imagine.

I may look calm but you have no fucking idea how hard I was praying for the balcony not to suddenly collapse lol

i guess this will never be a kawaii blog because my own personal thoughts keep spilling out and they are decidedly not-kawaii.

and this post, is gonna be a negative one i guess.

well, i'm thinking about how to phrase this..
since last night
i've been seeing things i don't wanna see
i guess it's my fault
for digging deeper
even though there's the little voice in my head going "elise, stop!"
everyone has that urge to find out the truth
even if it kills them
and well, it killed me, pretty much
now i can't stop turning things round in my head
layers of security and bravado come down
i can honestly say i've never felt so vulnerable
the thought of being a mere statistic sickens me
i can't say much more i guess

i've never felt more fucking grateful for my friends honestly
especially flo, nigel, joey, isk
for talking to me and being there
and even just dragging me into 6 hour l4d sessions so i won't have time to think about anything
the moment i sit still it all starts sinking in

there's a difference between having faith and being deluded
